Girl makeup is my thing.........

I started going to the MAC counter and letting them experiment and then before I knew it I was coordinating it with outfits from my closet and just certain looks I wanted to achieve.

Its best to go with a good quality product so you can really see the colors.

You asked about the colors and I went off all on a tangent.

I love all kinds of colors especially purples, oranges, pinks and greens and deep reds.

I find the brighter the colors the better.  Good luck !

Also there a te*****ue to application....the lighter colors are usually brow highilights

Medium colors are on the lid directly and then the darker colors add depth in the corners.

GIrlfriend if you dont have alot of cash you can start off with the palettes of three colors
and keep building from there. Cause eventually you can start mixing and matching along with how you feel for the day.

I find that it all looks better with a well  groomed brows... Not to mention that you have beautifully shaped eyes...so trust when you perfect your skills they are gonna be talking to the men.

Watch out  now & good luck !

How much are the consultation at the MAC counter?

Free far as I know, of course afterwards they want you to buy something.

Which aint hard, especially if you like it.  I dont get a consultation per se...

I 'm actually doing a lot of purple these days. Either light or medium purple (with and wiithout shimmer) for work and church and dark purple when I want to do a smokey eye for a night time look. I have always done the bronze/gold colors and those seem to work for me. MAC has this shimmering green color that I use from time to time too. Try HIP by Loreal, they have some good colors.

You look like you could try some blues and pums. It does not have to be dark and look like one of Charlie's Angels.

Another thing you can do, which I do, is look at magazines with pics of women who have similar skin tone/color such as yours. Then, look at the colors they have on. If it works for them, it can work for you!
This way when you go to make a purchase, you dont have to deal with a sales pitch. You already know the color family you are seeking.

Wish you well.
