Speaking of makeup...

Can somebody recommend me some eye shadow colors?  I always pick out browns, and they are nice and neutral and ok for work but most times you can hardly see it.  I guess I'm looking for something a lil more dramatic...  what colors look nice on brown skin?

I personally like reds, oranges, and tawny colors.  I think this look is hot,well not all over ur face but u get my drift

That is nice!  She has nice cheekbones.

Just get the whole color assortment and go for it!  Eyeshadow is pretty much the only makeup I do wear.  Love it!

If I could (i.e. had brown skin) I would go the full gamut.  If you don't have too much of a yellow undertone you can wear ANY colors.  I'm very jealous.

For dramatic, get the loose eye pigments and just go crazy.  I think the winter whites, golds, greens, reds are beautiful.

The beauty supply's here sell pigment pots (loose eyeshadows) cheap and you can play around with those.  Just make sure you get a couple of brushes and also experiment with water to make the color bolder.

As a rule of thumb, people with brown skin can pull off almost any color. I love everything, but anything purple or pink tends to compliment our skin well.
