Thank you Ms. Joyce and BAF for all of your well wishes
Good morning,
Wow, I am humbled by all the emails an PMs that I received from the members of BAF -- I checked my email and seen a few messages, I did not realize you guys cared so much, I posted my brothers passing on the lap band board over a week ago when I was at my lowest point of grieving, the band board is my main board where I have so many friends and support there since I have been posting there over 3 years.
I am still in ATL this week with family and friends, it was a very big funeral since my brother was well loved and his death was unexpected and untimely, he was honored with a military funeral and flag he was a marine, but he had his issues like so many other families endure.
My oldest sister took it the hardest he lived with her and helped her -- she found him dead after he did not come out of his room after she called him several times, she called her son to come over to see if he could unlock the door but her son could not; he then went around the house and looked inside the window and they saw my brother lying on the floor in his room and they call 911, and the paramedics took the door knob off and when they opened the door they found him on the floor dead with a big gash on his head, apparently he had died in his chair and he was dead all day and his body fell over and hit the corner of the dresser in his room and blood was all over the floor and his body had turned dark when they found him.
Although he had an addiction, he never let anyone know of it, he did it quietly in his room to sooth his pains, he was known for his wit, he used to joke with me all the time when I was struggling with diets and he would sing ...Naomi's on another diet..he would sing that to me in jokingly way...he was really funny, I looked just like him in a female version..and he was a lady's man tall and well dressed before his addiction took over.
Again, I am humbled for all the support, and I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you for your condolences PMs and well wishes, it meant so much to me during this time of grief.
Bless you all
Naomi
