Fashionistas I Need Advice......
Tomorrow night is my hubby's company Christmas party, it is the 1 time of the year that I wear makeup and get dressed up and actually go out, sad I know, but true. Well I have a black dress with sparklies on it with a mandarin collar and a front keyhole in the neckline. It is sleeveless and hits about 2 inches above my ankles. Well the only shoes I have are some black slide on shoes with a rhinstone circle on the band. Can I wear some stockings with these shoes? It's cold in TN and my feet look mighty light against this black. I know that you're not supposed to wear the type of hose with the enforced toe but what about a nude hose or a sheer black hose? I need help. I tried to find some shoes that had enclosed toes but they were over 3" heels and I'm already 2" taller than my hubby and that would not be cute and I wouldn't be able to walk in them anyway.
Give a sista some tips please.
Oh yeah, we might actually go to a club because the kids will be out of town at a competition from Fri through Sat. night so I might break my 20 yr streak of no clubs.

Ultra sheer black stockings with the sandalfoot and some french manicured or bright red toes.

Should my hair be up or down and if I wear a smokey eye then I do a nude lip right?
I would wear my hair up since the dress has a collar..actually, I would pull it into a tight bun...I will try to find the pic of Alicia Keys to show you what I mean....
Yes, smokey eye.....nude lip liner....smear the liner over lips with finger....sheer lip glass.
I would not do fishnets with the sparkle dress....too much for me....it would appear BUSY. I would do off black sheer sandle foot with a french manicure on hand nails and toes.
I also would not do FLASHY earrings....it will take away from the face, neckline, and dress....keep everything else basic.

Girl, go to Ling Ling and'em shop....(beauty supply)....buy the french manicure nail polish --- a small paint brush....and some nail remover....YOU CAN do a french manicure yourself....I have done this successfully SEVERAL times. It does require patience.
Also, buy the bun thingy from them....your hair is so long it may be difficult, but you just pull it back in a ponytail....sleep the doughnut bun thing over the pony tail and then tuck the hanging hair under the doughnut....secure with a black rubber band or bobby pins!
My asse just slick my schitt back and add on a weaved bun.

Beautiful pic Dedee. I had no idea how people got such perfect lookin buns. Thanks for explain' it to me. lol I've done my fingers and toes and I'm glad that it will be candlelight and Christmas lights in there. lol My daughter usually does this for me but she's out of town. ~smh~ it's sad that a 41 yr old has lost herself so much.
