My Company has money to burn I sugguestd that we sponser a family to my CEO and she was like "SURE" I found a famliy of 7 that is currenlty in a shelter with the oldest child being 15 , this family has a mother and a father and they are def. down on their luck with their 5 children.
I was a little down about finances today but after speaking with the women on the phone who is in charge of the shelter things could be a lot worse.  I thank god that me an my children and hubby have a roof over our head.....oh yeah this is gonna be the best christmas those kids have had in a while...cause I am gonna spend at least 1000 bucks on the kids!!!!!!!  Everyone take some time out and be thankful for what you have! -Miranda

That right there is the true meaning of Christmas and the reason for the season.  I always sponsor at least 2 children at work and 2 Salvation Army angels.  I was/am struggling myself this year but still am going to sponsor one child because I want Jordan to know just how blessed we still are.

Taw I felt so good doing that I just wish I could afford to sponsor someone myself but financially hubby and I just can't...

That is such a blessing!  I work in a Children's Hospital and it breaks my heart that these kids aren't even well enough to go home to have a Christmas.

Yes, that is tough.  When my son was 3, he was in the hospital around Christmas.  He was only in for a few days, but in the children's ward you see the ones who basically live there.  It's heartbreaking.

Girl, I thought you were gonna say you took it easy on Mr Moron and didn't go to lunch.  LOL

That was so good of you to think of those less fortunate.  Everytime I get down about my finances, I just remember that there are so many worse off than me.
