I can honestly say I always got what I wanted for Christmas. My Mom would ask me in the Summer what I wanted so she could stack chips and get it.

A Barbie Dream House!!!

My Barbies had a cottage aka a summer home.  How you gonna have a summer home and you don't have a HOME home???  2 cars, a bathtub that made bubbles when you put dishwashing liquid, a swimming pool...  all that and no HOME?

When I was a kid I would have given anything to get some nice clothes for christmas but we were so poor growing up that never happened.   I think I made up for it through my kids cause they had/have a nice wardrobe of clothing.    When I was heavy I really wasnt in the mood for buying any clothes for me so the kids really lucked out during that stage of my life.

It feels great to be blessed to be in the positon to be able to do more for your kids than our parents could do for us!

I can identify qith not really being in the mood to buy clothes when you were heavy. it seemed like such a chore!
