We had a catered lunch today here at work.  There was some kind of smothered chicken and gravy with ****ake mushrooms (I had a very small amount of that)  and it was pretty good.

Also some potato dish with white and sweet potatoes and artichoke (didn't even look appetizing enough for me to try that)

But the salad was a mixture of wild looking  greens with house dressing.  ( It didn't look good but baaaaabbbbyyyyy.....it was REALLY good!  The dressing was sweet (I usually don't eat that) and I put crumbled blue cheese on it too.    Mmmmmmmm Good!

I'm proud to say I TOTALLY passed up the desserts!!!!

I have some salad left over that I will have for dinner tonight.

Hello Kim,

I am having shrimp etoufeé.

ETA:  Good job on passing up the desserts.

What's shrimp etoufee'?

Faith, surprisingly it wasn't too hard.  I kept thinking if I get something, I'm gonna have to do extra workouts..... It just ain't that serious!

It's a cajun/creole roux based (melting butter and then adding flour and other ingredients) dish.  You can make it with shrimp/crawfish and you eat it over rice. It is sooo good.

I had the usual suspects.  Cheese and Crackers with a small apple.  Washed it all down with a coke zero.
