What made YOU smile today?

My G-baby and my doggies made me smile today..I know it's an awful picture of ME but who cares  I love that little boy with ALL of my being!!! AND for those of you that have dogs you know...there's something really sweet about them greeting you at the door each and every day when you get home from work


SO....what made you smile today????

My conversation with my girl Trish this morning made me smile because I expected her to be out of it after her plastic surgery yesterday.  You know...talking all drugged up and stuff...but she sounded soooo good!

Your pic above also made me smile because it reminds me of a similar pic of my Mom and my son (when he was your Grandbabies age).  She passed away in 2001, the holidays make me think how much I miss my best friend.

I'm glad your friend is doing well. I had PS last year and it was really the BEST thing I have done for MYSELF ever aside from WLS

I lost my father when I was 15 and I miss him too. I don't think you ever quite get over the loss of a parent but our good memories help ease the pain and keep them in our heart Always value the positive people in your life and tell them how much they mean to you...nobody is promised tomorrow!

Just thinking about celebrating my great nephew's birthday and having the three of them for the weekend is making me smile today.

Also, I am buying a new snake today and that is making me smile.

Also, just waking up in my right mind and a great spirit made me smile.

You know what....happiness really comes from within and then shines through on the outside. I ain't gonna let ANYBODY steal my joy Family is our foundation and support system...I'm really glad you're going to get some time with your family.

Getting to work on time today

pay day

seeing my daughter do her thing this morning -I love the fact that she's 16 and is so independent.

Getting on the scale and seeing that I didnt pick up weight.

Lastly this post....thanks for making me take the time out to recognize the little things.

Hey KT....Im good pretty lady. Not as shiny as yesterday

Im trying to get back to positivity and productivity in terms of my weightloss.

Hope all is well with you. 

Children have such a great way of warming our hearts and lifting our spirits   Now, when you go home tonight...sit your daughter down and tell her what you just told me...I KNOW it will inspire her to keep up the good work   Oh and congrats on getting to work today and a scale victory...what a great way to start out the day

Thanks YaYa....I think I will tell her that. And hopefully it will make up for last night cause  I fussed at her cause she didnt walk the dog...which she reminds me regularly that the dog is MY dog and not hers.....

But sometmes when my daughter wants to get on my good side, she will refer to the dog as her sister. Cause she knows that melts my heart. 

All and all ...I have a good kid and that is a blessing.
