I did it once. I went with a group of singles to St. Thomas back in '89. I hadn't known anyone on the tour...not even my roommate. Anyway, that first night there was kinda of a mixer. A writer from Essence magazine was there, interviewing ppl on the "state of black male/female relationships". Anyway, the interviewer was questioning people and me and this lady fell into conversation.
No, nothing happened that night. The next day, we spent most of the day together. The group all spent the day at a private beach on the island of St. John. We were playing around in the water most of the time...that night, while everyone else was partying, we were in my room.
Without going into detalis, the deed was done, we spent time together up to the split in the airport. While I knew she was a lawyer in NYC, I'd never seen or heard from her since. But, the expererience was cool.
