First off thank you all for all of the support!!!!!I'm on the losers side, ha, ha,ha
Okay guys everything went great.  A very uneventful surgery.  The recovery pain has been minimum very little discomfort.  I am home now and wondering like nothing feels any different.  I just know what I must do.  My insides feel the same.  I have been sipping, sipping as much water as possible.  Also meals are very slow.  Any way today is the first full liquid and it was oatmeal which was pretty good.  If you have any good ideas for this phase of the meal plan let me know.

I'm glad you made it through ithe surgery without incident. I'm only one week out and had some of the same concerns about feeling different. I guess if the scars aren't enough, the fact that you can't eat as much should be confirmation, at least it was for me.  I'm still feeling around with  the full liquids as well.
ETA: See my post : Post WLS Newbies Watcha eating for some menu  ideas

Congratualations and welcome to the "losers bench".  Your mind just hasn't caught up with the procedure yet. My biggest wow was that my body was sutaining off the amount of food I was eating and I ddin't WANT anything more.  BUt regarding meal ideas. You can do mashed potatoes and also  an eg.Those types of things were only my snacks per my surgeon and NUT and my meals consisted of for the first 7-10 days my shakes to ensure I got the protein in.

Good luck! I can't beleive you're on line I think it took me a week lol.
