Deletion???????

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely who others think you are!
GIrl I feel you on deleted posts, but this site is free, and so are the people on it.
So what can you do
I think I've only deleted 1x since being on BAF, even though there are plenty of times when I wish I had cause I might have said way tooooooooo much.
If someone deletes something before I get to it.....I figure it It wasnt meant for my " tender ears" or shall I say eyes.

But I DO have a question, though, on the real: why does it bother anyone if ANYONE deletes something they wrote? Who is it hurting? More interesting is the amount of comments on this. LOL.
I can't speak for anyone else, but when I did it, it was usually deleting stuff that wasn't getting responses anyway, thus a wasted of space; I found, also, I was censoring myself needlessly. Yeah, I know...stupid chiot, but it WAS what it WAS.

That I can't explain. I don't understand it. Why write it if you can't stand by it? I have been on OH since 2001-02. There used to be a time when there was nothing you could do other than sit there and let the post simmer. I will say that there was more "pulling" of post in the past and that has really lightend up. I think that was worse on some account. I am not a deleter but I don't post as much as I used to due to the fact that this board is sometimes not friendly toward those who have not had WLS.

with me, it wasn't a matter of not standing behind what I said, for in the "drama" I'd gotten into, I stood by what I said. Both times. After that, when I deleted stuff, it was usually stuff that got no reponses anyway.

I can understand that completely. If it's not getting a response then maybe it should be deleted.........lol. I was just saying in general to those who fall into that category of habitual deleters.....lol.
