I Won't Complain..... Will You?

It Is What It Is!!!

This is my favorite song and I just wanted to take this time to encourage anyone who might be going through.  The holidays bring out sadness to some and happiness to others.. I just want to encourage you to hang in there and no that you are not alone....

I've had some good days.
I've had some hills to climb
I've had some weary days
And some sleepness nights
But when I look around
And I think things over,
All of my good days, outweigh my bad days,
I WON'T COMPLAIN

Sometimes the clouds hang low
I can hardly see the road
I ask the question, Lord,
Lord, why so much pain?
But He knows, what's best for me
Although my weary eyes, they can't see
So I'll just say thank you Lord,
I WON'T COMPLAIN

God has been so good to me
He's been so good to me,
More than this OLD world, or you could ever be
He's been so good, to me
He dried all of my tears away
Turned my mid-nights in to day.
So I'll just say thank you Lord,
I WON'T COMPLAIN..

Just remember that no matter what you are going through, there is always someone worse off than you.

Be Blessed ON today...  And bless someone else, even if it's with a kind word.

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown

I had not heard this song in years.  I was thinking about the late Rev. Paul Jones 3 weeks ago and the song came on the radio I have been singing it ever since and the new version by some Sister.  I really be trying to help her sing that song.  Thanks for sharing.

Pastor Di, I brought that tape 15 years ago.  I heard a young man sing that song at church, I went to the record store and found the tape.  I have been singing it ever since.

But George Huff (American Idol) sang it on Bobby Jones, about a month ago.  He tore it up!  I hope he records it too, I will definitely let you know if I can find his version and send it to you.

Be blessed and know that I am praying for you.

For personal reasons of my own, I cry every time I hear this song. Very powerful song indeed.

I sang it at my dad's 30th Pastoral anniversary on Sunday.  It was very emotional.  I have been singing this song for 15 years.  I kid you not, they (church folks) won't let me sing anything else.  I'm like, I know other songs.... LOL

But anyway, that song is my testimony and every time I sing it, it pleases me to know that someone is blessed through song.

I absolutely love this song!  The first time I ever heard was years ago when this homeless man just walked into the church singing it.

I am thankful for what I have, because there are people with less or even nothing. I will not complain.  Thanks Kim.
