Yes I did actually.. I'm suppose to hold on to it... Forever lol! She expects me to be a little girl for life so its hard to discuss these kinds of things sometimes, but I do try.

I was definately a late bloomer and I always planned to be a virgin until I met the man I thought I would marry (Corny, I know). Anywho I knew this great guy we kept in touch while I moved away and until I came back to towwn, I thought he was a real keeper until he spiked my drink one night and afterwards pretty much kiccked me out of his place. I found out afterwards that I wasn't the first woman he hadd done this to and he actually was let go from the hospital we wworked at for "Sexul Innappropriateness". 

Anywho all this was only about 5 yrs ago.  I think now that maybe I put too much weight on the whole virginity thing, Its one of those things that has happened and I can't go back. All the advice I can give you is if you're wiling to share something as special as your virginity with a guy, just make sure he's worth it.

I am 27 year old female, I work at a school based health center as the provider. I see lots of kids who are having sex and the disasterous effects thereof such as unwanted pregnancy, low self esteem, stds etc. My advice is why are you still a virgin? I am sure you may have had opportunities by now to loose it. look at your values, what is important to you? is it waiting till you're married? waiting till you are able to support a child, should that happen? is it waiting till you are out of college? It is waiting till you understand that sex does not equal love and are able to make choices that you will someday not regret? What are your future goals and how will you be able to acheive them, should the unexpected happen? How will you feel afterward, guilty or that you made the right choice? Are you in a relationship that is going somewhere or is this someone that after all is said and done, the next time you see that person you will feel ashamed? I will encourage you to speak wiht your parents or a trusted adult whom you admire to converse with. YOu will learn a lot from people's experiences. But finally the choice is yours. once you know why you are doing something, it is that much harder to do the opposite. surround yourself with friends (boyfriend) that will support you in your decision. Some people may say that I am old fashioned, but we were all made for love, the kind that lasts; my body is he temple of God and anything that happens with it is important to God. I am waiting till marriage. Those who may not have waited, majority of them wish they had. Also it is not too late to reclaim your 'virginity'. 2nd time virgins are just as precious. hope this helps.
