The Feds have arrested Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his Chief of Staff and taken both of them into custody - charges of (within last month) - get this...for...

TRYING TO SELL/TRADE PRESIDENT-ELECT BARACK OBAMA'S SENATE SEAT!!! Say Whaaaaattt???!!!

What the heyll...book 'em DANO!!!  They have him on tape...trying to make money - promising funds to individuals to help he and his wife...looking for a cabinet post/ambassadorship for himself (in the Obama cabinet)...and the list goes on in a 76-page affidavit...

Oh my...my, my...this is some juicy stuff right hur!!! For real for real!!!

There's an 11:00 news conference...I have got to get some 100 cal popcorn for dis right hur...wow!

A source has told the Sun-Times that Gov. Rod Blagojevich has been taken into federal custody at his home on Chicago's North Side.

A news conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. today.

U.S. Attorney's office spokesman Randall Samborn says both Blagojevich and his chief of staff John Harris were arrested Tuesday. Authorities aren't yet releasing details about those charges.

Federal prosecutors have investigated Blagojevich's administration for at least three years. They've been looking at everything from how he hired people for state jobs to the actions of friends and contributors.

Blagojevich fundraiser Tony Rezko awaits sentencing on a federal corruption conviction in which he was charged with shaking down businesses wanting to do state work for campaign contributions.

The governor has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

Hell, he should be arrested for having that name, if nothing else.  LOL.  Pronounce that three times quickly.  I betcha most ppl can't.

Seriously, though, it's not surprising he tried to "sell" the seat.  Politics is full of favors owed and taken.

WHEW---I am still rooting for Jesse, Jr. to get that Senate seat!

Hey Dedee...Jesse Jackson, Jr. would be a great candidate for the job; however, I truly hope he was not in the backline conversations regarding that seat...I also heard Retired state senator Emil Jones is interested...but in my opinion...boyfriend needs to saddown (sit down) and let someone else (younger) have a chance.  I mean this guy has been in politics like..FOREVER!!

Hey Angel!. I'm waiting on my BIL (the Fed) to call me back. Here's the link for the affidavit. I decided to take 2 classes in 2 1/2 weeks and can't even think straight. Combine that with the 17 year old girl that I took in and baby bye. I'll touch base with you before the holidays .
