Check your drivers license....
It was good, uneventful until Friday. The whole family was over for brunch. So there were people in out of the house. So my aunt left because she had a hair appointment. She came back 2 minutes later and was like my car has been stolen. Now this aunt has been known to be a little loopy at time and at first no one believed her. Conversation went like this.
Me: What are you doing back
Her: My car is stolen
Me: Are you sure?
Her: Yes I'm not crazy my car is gone
Me: (thinking in my head you are a little crazy) Where did you park?
Her: Right behind Frank
All of us run to the window sure enough there was a big open spot where her truck was parked. Now everyone gets on their cell calling other relatives who had left earlier to see if they saw their truck when they left out.
My mom: That usually doesn't happen in our neighborhood.
Me: Yeah just shootings
My mom: go check down the street those people are shady down there they probably needed a part.
My uncle: Let it stay gone we can collect the insurance money
My mom: Are you up to date with your car payment
My aunt: I am only a couple days late
My mom: Oh well they won't come take it for that
Fast forward next day my grandmother comes home and says. Your aunt's car was repo'd. Um what happened to her only being a couple days late. My grandmother no she was a couple months late.
We got a good laugh at her at that one.
Me: What are you doing back
