Chile - the ONLY way to solve that is to keep a ROTATION going...... that feelins shiot is impossible to irradicate - no matter how HARD you set the rules up in the beginning!!!!!

One mofo was positively INSULTED when I had him stop mid stroke so I could answer the call from a ummm 'better skilled' rotation candidate..... he had his damn heart on his sleeve and shiot......

Back in those days i had a 3-5 rule, depended on how much they seemed to get attached.  Had a long time mofo that I THOUGHT was hard - but when it came time for my WLS, he got all soft around the edges and started questioning 'his place in my life' after my WLS....... that's when he found his new place...... on my porch!!!!!  LOL

I have a child, working on the house and have a career with opportunity--so I feel you on that front.  The worse thing that ever happened for the institution of marriage is women figured out they can do it by themselves--and well.

I hear you Taw.  I was happy as a single woman, no kids.  I married late (38), but I'm glad we were both mature enough to know how to deal with marriage and the committment it takes.  Also, waiting until I was older helps us both because we totally understand "me time".  LOL.  I love my Boo, but I told him a long time ago - if for any reason, we don't work out, I'm not training another mofo!

you are preaching to the choir!  I feel you on all of that.  I never dreamed of a wedding or anything like that, but I guess I just assumed that it would happen, so as I push 37 I'm like, damn, thought it woulda happened by now, like I just always thought of it as a given.

In the past month I've had TWO friends tell me some very surprising **** about their husbands.  No cheating or craziness, but definitely some "damn I aint know he was so stupid" type ****  I'd like to have someone to share my life with, but I'm pretty old skool, and if it can't be with someone who has some sense and shares the same values and ideals as me, I'm cool by myself.

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely who others think you are!

i feel ya....i was married ten yrs..and have been proposed to a few times since.....however, i've taken a vow to never get married again....and at the same token because i am a woman i do...at times...long for the comfort of a man...but 75% of me enjoys being free....i meet guys all the time..but they want all of me...my full attention...i just cant do that right now in my life and i really dont think i'll ever be able to...i've never had the white picket fence dream ....so i say why bother........
