BABYSITTERS, needed.

LOL

For the last 5 years I come to BAF for comedy,  advise and somethings even a fight or two.  But today,  I look at this site differently.  This is Family!!!!  I asked for help and you guys made it happen.

Because of BAF, tonight I can rest, knowing that the children will be allowed to come home with me.

And with that I say:

Bless you all.

Im leaving for the day,  to GO GET SOME SLEEP.  (and comb my hair, lol)

smile.  Tonya

Try this website.  http://www.freecycle.org/
The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 4,643 groups with 6,199,000 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer (them's good people). Membership is free. To sign up, find your community by entering it into the search box above or by clicking on “Browse Groups” above the search box. Have fun!

You can also ask the Caseworker to send out an email to existing foster parents who have something they want to give away.  We closed our home earlier this year and I still get emails asking if we have any furniture because kids are being returned to their parents or a relative placement.

The caseworker should be working to help you get the items you need.

I've obviously been off the board here and there and unfortunately I missed your call for help.  As a social worker who works with young people in the DSS and DJS systems, I know alot about the process.  I'm sorry that I was not aware of your situation.  Know that I am a phone call and ride down 95 away.  Congratulations on getting approved!!!  That is exciting.  Peep my contact info on the backline if you don't already have it.
