I've made it home from surgery and am doing great! The experience itself (hospital stay and staff) was excellent. It was like being at a spa.
One question. Why didn't anyone warn a sister about the no food or liquids following the surgery. Not that I was hungry, but had a serious case of cotton mouth and my throat was sore. When 12 midnight rolled around, I was bugging my nurse, to no avail. I still had to wait until breakfast before getting my liquids, and baby, chicken broth never tasted so good.

I can't complain though, the surgery went without complications. My doctor released me Wednesday after I promised to get in my liquids every 15 minutes.
