Ladies - question about how you dress.....

I don't wear a slip unless the dress/skirt is a little see-through, or too clingy.  I go bare-legged most of the time in the summer, but only if my dress is long enough 'cause my legs need some sun on them!  LOL.  I have only black and navy pantyhose because my hubby likes me in black sheer stockings.....

I wear pantyhose and tights in the winter only.  I wear camis under revealing shirts only.  I can not stand slips so I try to stay away from clothing that requires them. 

a slip??? what in the world is that?  lol i am with Rhonda...I ain't worn a slip in YEARS!!!  My momma said recently "they ain't gonna see nothin but some legs!!!"  lol  i don't wear pantyhose in the summer time, but I do wear them and tights in the winter.  I wear knee highs and trouser socks under pants....I only wear a cami if the top is low cut and revealing and i am going to church or work, now if i am going out...I don't do the cami's...lol

I'm too self-conscious to leave my chest out, so I do wear camis with low cut shirts or dresses. (I really need to get over that, cause I always have to find a cami that matched my outfit). I do wear a slip too but only if the dress/skirt is a little see though especially on sunny days when the sun goes right through the dress/skirt.

I wear pantyhose with my skirts and dresses but only in the winter now. I used to wear them year round, but now I just go bear leg in the spring/summer/fall.

Hey lady!  I do wear a slip when my dresses are "see through" I can't stand it.  Plus I hate when sitting  down and standing up your dress is sticking to you because you don't have one on! Sometimes I find myself taking it off because it's hanging longer than the dress But I know it's "old skool" but yes I do wear them.  I also will wear a cami for that fact too.

I don't like wearing panty hose when it's hot outside but they do keep you from sweating believe it or not.  I wear tights in the winter to coordinate my suit outfits here at work.  Plus the look is more professional here at work.

Darn I guess I'm old school also because I often wear slips and I wear pantyhose in the winter time.  I just got my order of 30 pair of panty hose; I love No nonsense Ultra Sheer pantyhose Walmart stopped selling them and I can't find them anywhere so I order them from their website.
I love tights, patterned stockings & fishnets also.

You folks that say you don't wear stockings probably live places where it does not get very cold in the winter time. I wear dresses & suits to work most days so I have to wear stockings.

Me...I wear camis and half slips under my clothing...slips are worn only if a skirt or dress is not lined.

As for pantyhose...uh...nope!  When I need to wear pantyhose (wintertime only), I am a fishnets wearer and opague tights, when needed.  I love fishnets...they are very comfortable and don't itch!  Like you, I wear trouser socks with slacks in the winter (none in spring/summer months).

I HATE PANTYHOSE!!!

If I were drinking a Coke it would have just come out my nose and you know that shiot burns!!

Man - come on now - you know I keeps it real!!!  And you KNOW that foot sweat funk.... dont act like my feet the only ones sweatin...... LMAO - I can **** up a good pair of shoes in mere WEEKS with that shiot right there...... LOL

Too funny!  I just had this conversation with my girlfriend today at lunch.  I do not own a slip, but I was raised wearing them  (my Mama has a slip drawer!).   There's no way I'd be wearing something so see-thru that I'd need a slip, simply because slips are too restrictive.  Get outta here with that! 

As for pantyhose, I own some, but rarely wear them.  Like a previous poster, I prefer thigh-high stockings.  Thigh-high fishnets are the best!  I do love a good pair of thick, opaque tights though!
