The rule of thumb, if he rag about the boss, he will rag about you or anyone else in the office. Sounds as if he is trying to claw his way to the top. I could be wrong about his motives but he DEFINATELY has an agenda
and for some reason, perhaps what you mentioned he has decided to wrap you all up into his mess. Be careful and keep a beedy eye on his ass.
