What are you doing to detox?
Make him a big pot of vegetable soup (no potatoes).
2 packs of frozen mixed vegetables (the ones with no potatoes)
1 can of diced tomatoes with garlic, basil, and oregano
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of tomato paste
1 can of green beans
1 can of whole corn
1 can of kidney beans
1 large diced onion
some carrots
squash and zuchini if you like
3 cans of beef or chicken broth
Season with salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder
Bring to a boil them let simmer for about an hour
He can eat on this a few days
Steam squash, zucchini, and onions. Make a pot of cabbage or collard greens, or kale using chicken broth (or beef broth). Make fruit smoothies, eat yogurt, eat oatmeal, eat vegetarian baked beans, fix a pot of blacked eyed peas or lima beans or northern beans. Marinate cucumbers with tomatoes or just cucumbers. Girl, I be hooking up some stuff.

Those are some GREAT ideas!!! See I'm missing that creative gene. The good thing is that he loves soups and beans. I guess it's about being appealing to the eye and the mouth.

Cookie I think I will try this next week. I have been doing the protein train this week, the scale is definitely moving in the correct direction (DOWN)... Can you please send me some of your recipes for the detox stage (especially for a good smoothie) I have the one for the vegetable soup I passed that to a friend the other time you posted and she said it was good. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated. Cookie how much did u lose on the 9 day. I am still in a 14 and trying to be in a 12 by the end of next month.
