Girl........ let me tell you let me tell you, I wore tha***** bitty black dress, some black heels, and the biggest smile you have ever seen on my face, hair all swooped up, make up just right, heck I took off work early to go home to get dressed. Stepped out of my vehicle, I dont think he knew who I was until I called his name. and my year was made. It was so worth it. A little history, he had made comments in the past about my weight, about needing someone more, how did he put it, more socicially acceptable by his side when he goes to those big meetings and functions, so any way...I stepped out of the vehicle, smooth tha***** bitty dress down that had riden slightly up when I stepped down out of the vehicle. He looked up, mouth dropped open, I think he forgot to close his mouth but no words was coming out. I gave him a hug, and then walked smoothly in front of him to the door of the restranuant, waited until he caught up with me to open the door and slither to the booth. The poor man yet to say anything until the server comes and asks us how we are doing, he say, fine, I say wonderfully well. The funny thing is through out the night he kept saying that he need to lose weight, that he is over weight. Him and the server was talking and he made some statment about folks thinking that the grass is greener on the other side then you find out that it not. Not once did he make a statement about how I looked compared to back when we were together yet, I knew without him saying anything. That night, I closed a chapter in my life's book and it felt wonderful. LaVerne
