Hey there, my name is Jenny and I've recently joined this site to get some insight and support while going through this journey (that has just started btw) I'm pre-weight loss surgery, don't even have it scheduled yet BUT am in the prior authorization phase of things and starting my 6 month documented diet for insurance purposes. I'm finding that I'm having a difficult time even getting started on the diet because of the holidays. It's almost like a crutch, ok, well I'll wait until after the holidays (we've all done it I'm sure) 

So a little background on me. I'm 32 and have battled with weight my entire life. I was in weigh****chers at 7 years old, got sent to fat camp in cali when I was 11, tried every diet known to man, so I have finally decided that this surgery thing may be the way to go. 

Currently I'm 4'11 at 240 pounds with bmi of 48.5! woowee! Anyone else here pre-op? Any recommendations are welcomed. I look forward to meeting you guys. Thx for reading my novel lol

I have being going to WLIAZ now for 6 months. what a great office staff. they are always kind helpful with all my questions I never leave with any bad feelings about anything. They are very supportive and very very kind. They make every trip there a pleasure.

I have been a patient of Dr DeBarros for 9 months now. Friendly, flexible, informative , caring and professional staff .Highly recommend WLIAZ  ... Great Team

hello. i am cris im 18 years old. ive been going with my doctor for about 10 months already and he doesnt want to help me get my gastric sleeve. every time i go he gives me all kinds of different pills just so i can lose weight. he doesn't really care about me. last time he gave me really strong pills i lasted 2 weeks throwing up because they were strong. i really need help trying to seek a way to find another helpful doctor. my insurance mercy care (medicaid). im 320 lbs and i am 5'8. in this 10 months ive been with him he told me to write everything i ate for 6 months, when i finished the 6 months of writing every i ate he didnt really bother, ive mentioned him about my eating log and he told that i have to do another one but supervised. he is stressing me out. he just wants me to take pills, does anybody know where i can go or get help?
