Do you drink the shakes as a meal replacement or as a snack.  I need to get back on track myself and need to know what some of us are doing.

Hi! I had VSG surgery 4 years ago. I was going good until I started snacking and also gained back 25 pounds. I'm am still trying to reach my goal weight of 150 and just started to get back on track. I'm thinking of doing the reset diet as well. I just need some motivation, and support. Only people who have had this surgery understand that it is not as easy as it seems :(

I drink the pre-made premier protein shakes, they are good. They have them at walmart, sams club, pretty much anywhere. Chocolate is best! :)

Does anyone have a recommendation on a good-tasting protein powder?

Topic: Any Banner Bariatric Program people out there?

I am starting the process of WLS with Banner Gateway.  I have my initial consultation with Dr. Chen.  Has anyone gone through the Banner program?  If so, can you provide any information or comments?

Thanks in advance,

Jerry

Hi and welcome!

This thread isn't very busy sadly however; if you know what surgery you will be having, head over to that forum.  They are a lot more active.

I'm in AZ as well.

Good luck to you!

Dr. John De Barros Review

I highly reccomend Dr. Dr Barros for Bariatric Surgery.

Dr. DeBarros is very informative, friendly and takes time with his patients.

I am thrilled about my results I am still going strong with my weight loss journey.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to change my life.

I highly reccomend Weight Loss Institute of Arizona.

Are you just starting out? I am too. I am going thru the dreading wait of the prior authorization process lol I see that you are in Avondale. I'll soon be living in Laveen so not too far from you. Once I get my authorization I can let you know how my consult goes with whatever clinic my insurance accepts. Are you self pay, or does your insurance cover the surgery? You may want to contact your insurance to see who they're contracted with and then interview those clinics that are covered. Wish you the best of luck, and feel free to add me as a friend :) take care!
