5 Month Update and follow up appointment

Well had my 5 month appt. yesterday...wow...how the time has flown...I am continuing to lose and am very happy with my decision. I thought I would throw out a month summary of my progress.....it amazes me. DATE Weight / BMI / lost June 2005 411/ 63.4 / 0 Sept2005 402 62.1 9 (pre op appt) Sept2005 373 57.6 29 (1 week post) Oct 2005 348.5 53.8 24.5 Nov 2005 320 49.4 28.5 Dec 2005 290.5 44.8 29.5 Jan 2006 269.5 41.6 21 Mar 2006 251 38.8 18.5 Total lost since June 2005 == 160 lbs. One of the things that amazes me the most is how fast I am going through clothes....I started with a 68" waist and am down to a 40" waist. 6X shirt and now wearing a XL...and my feet have even shrunk...But this is all a good thing....the best part is that I am not stuck wearing "Big Dog" shirts 24/7....I have real clothes...and went into the Haggar store the other day and bought off the shelf...oh what a feeling. I do have a lot of clothes that just don't work anymore and am willing to give them to people for them to wear. My wife also has lots of clothes that no longer fit her. We are both professionals so much of the clothing is "work" type clothes...so if interested send me an email. Congratulations! You are doing so well. Keep it up. On another forum, there were posts that said that several people are measuring 1/2-2 inches taller following dramatic weight loss like yours. For a kick, meesure yourself and see if you are taller!
