Major Wow Moment

As many of you know, I am looking for work. My previous employer allowed us to wear casual clothing, so I didn't have anything I could wear to an interview. Finally, I broke down and went to Fashion Bug. I am thrilled to report that I was able to buy 18/20 in pants and 22/24 in blouses. I wore my new pants(pinstripe) with a shiny peach blouse to my interview this morning, and I felt very comfortable. It is nice to see that people are actually looking at my qualifications and not my appearance. I also went to Walmart to get my oil changed and while waiting I went to the plus size area. They had beautiful blouses for $15.00, so I bought 5 of them and two pairs of dress pants in a size 18/20. I started my journey at a size 30/32, and now I am wearing 18/20 in pants. I am so excited. What a wonderful experience! It sure makes all of your hard work worth it, doesnt it? Even tho I dont know you personally, I can just imagine how happy and proud of yourself you felt when you experienced this 'quiet' milestone in your life! Congratulations - and keep up the good work. Brandy, Thank you. My interview went well. I was invited to come back for another interview slash information session. I think this is really a sales position, but it gets me out of the apartment at least. I am really wanting to get a position at Farmers as a Claims specialist. I have that interview on Monday.
