Do you need an angel???

Do you have surgery coming up?? If so, you need an angel. An angel basically keeps in touch with you or your family while you are in the hospital and reports back to the board(s) updates on you. Anyone can be an angel. You don't have to be post-op or at goal to be one. Don't be afraid to ask for one. I had to ask for one myself pre-op. And don't worry you 12-steppers out there - an angel is not the same as a sponsor. An angel just keeps the board(s) updated with your pre-op/post-op progress and news about you. If you need an angel, just title your message I NEED AN ANGEL. You can also go to a local support group anytime pre-op and ask for an angel too. Don't be shy or afraid. We are here for you and know exactly what you are going through. You are not alone! What you can also do is go to the "UPCOMING SURGERIES" link to the left of this board and go to the person's profile and click the link on the far right that says SURGERY SUPPORT PAGE. It is on the page whether or not that person has an angel yet. So if you see someone that doesn't have an angel yet, volunteer to be their angel.
