Tips to Remember
Make sure you:
? Consume at least 70 grams of protein/day
? Have a source of lean protein at every meal
? Drink at least 64 oz of calorie-free beverages/day
? NO CARBONATION
? Chew all foods thoroughly and eat slowly
? Do NOT eat & drink at the same time
? Eat 3 meals/day
? Take vitamins daily
? Watch portion sizes
? Follow-up regularly with your Surgeon & Dietitian
? Remember to stay within the recommended caloric intake daily
? EXERCISE
? Get your labs checked annually
