Heard of Gastric Sleeve?

I met someone who is considering the "gastric sleeve". It's evidently some kind of mesh sleeve that's put around the stomach to restrict capacity. Anyone else heard of it? Sounds interesting and without a lot of the potential problems associated with lapband and RNY. - Stephanie J

Oh, I didn't realize that was the one Mary had. I haven't seen her since her surgery. Is she doing well? I wonder how many of them are being done? It sounds like a surgery that would have a lot of benefits and fewer long term draw backs than the RNY, including no malabsorption, which I suffer with now a lot. Are you back from Florida? Hope it wasn't too windy! I'm clerking for some of the flu shot clinics. I've been too busy to even get enough exercise in lately. Gotta get moving again. - Stephanie
