Does anybody have Mercy Care? Can you share your experiences with getting them to approve the surgery?

Mine is AHCCCS - AP/IPA. They were really good. But look on the left of this board in the blue strip column and click 'insurers'. There's lots of info on insurance companies. SHeryl

I had Aetna, but here are some feedback from patients who have used Mercy Care for WLS: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/list-insurers.php?State=AZ&curPg=2&alphaPos=M Go down mid-way to Mercy Care (it's listed alphabetically after Medicare) and then go to page 3. Everyone else, to look up what patients have said about your insurance company and their experiences, go to: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/bariatric+surgery+insurers+in+arizona.html then click on the LETTER that your insurance company starts with and scroll down. If you have already been APPROVED or DENIED, make sure you post your experience through your profile update page (log in and then click on INsurance info) and the info you put in there will be copied over to this page.
