I am down 101 lbs as of today!! Yay!! I have 95 lbs to go to reach surgeons goal, about 115 pounds to go to reach my personal goal. Having this surgery is the BEST thing I've ever done in my life!! These past 6 months have been stellar and I just keep wondering, wow, what's going to happen next?!! It's been a joy ride so far!!! Trisha -101 lbs since 3/8/05

WOW! That is wonderful! Keep up the good work. Is there a support group meeting this Saturday? Do you think that it is beneficial for post ops to attend? Or do you think it is better to wait until after surgery? Thanks! Melissa

YEs..i think pre op shoudl attend.. it helps to have a support system in place BEFORE the surgery... also.. its a good place to get some real life answers
