Has anyone dealt with UHC-EPO Insurance

Yes, I have. I had a letter from my Primary Care Physician stating it was medically necessary due to diabetes, sleep apena, arthritis in both knees, depression, polycystic ovary syndrome, and hypertension. I had already been to the Wish Center and gone through all of their tests. UHC EPO deneid me and are requiring me to have a 6 month Physician Assisted diet history with a documented weight loss of 25 lbs. The denial letter stated they would not accept Weigh****chers, etc. - it must be Physician Assisted. I am currently visiting my doctor monthly for weigh ins. Only 5 more months to go! I refuse to give up!! Good luck to you, Kim
