I wanna visit someone while at St Lukes!!!
There'll be LOTS of patients to visit! I know when I had my WLS, I didn't know anyone else online here having it at same time. However when I did my laps at St. Luke's, it was fun seeing other WLS patients. (Basically the overweight patients you see walking in hallway are WLS patients.) We ask each other who our surgeon was, when our surgery was and how we are doing. That whole floor is mainly WLS patients. They group us all together. So it's great support and it's nice not being alone (i.e. the ONLY WLS patient there). I had a great experience at St. Luke's (nursing care, etc.) and I know you will too!!!
