Hey everyone; Just wanted to share this experience with you all................. I went for a consult yesterday with a plastic surgeon (Ellis). I picked this surgeon because he was on our insurance (Greatwest). I am only 9 months out but I have a medical condition under my arms I want fixed. It was an opportunity to have a full consult as well. The gals at the front desk were drilling into me that they do not use insurance, it is strickly cash only. I said I have a referral from my Primary care doctor and you are on my insurance. They said it didn't matter. They do not use insurance. The only reason they are on insurance plans is so we can file the claim ourselfs and it is a requirement to practice here in AZ. Anyway, he couldn't help me and referred me to a surgeon that could help me. He did tell me that I needed to wait until I was 12-16 months post surgery in order to discuss my cosmetic procedures. So if you all want to have cosmetic surgery to remove loose skins. Start saving. The procedures run from $3000-15000 depending on the amount of skin you need removed. Best of Luck, Cynthia

Wow, how weird. Why would they even be listed on insurance plans if it is all cash-only? Wow. Thanks for letting us know. I'll keep that in mind. So did you call the other PS to discuss your medical condition? Was he able to help you? Keep us posted! Trisha -95 lbs
