Just need alittle info!

Is there anyone that could give some info on living about 140 miles from Phoenix and how long if any do you have to stay in the Phoenix area after the surgery? I was hoping to be able to return home maybe a day after leaving the hospital, is this possible? I know that there will be Doctor check ups but will be nice to recoop at home. Just trying to cover all bases. Thanks in advance for any info you might have to share. Donna

The standard answer is to check with what the doctor wants, but what I did is came straight home to Tucson the day I got out. I would have been very uncomfortable staying in a hotel in Phoenix. My easy chair and own bed and quiet home were calling to me. Be sure you scope out a number of bathrooms on the way home, though as the bowels can play many cute tricks on you the first few days out.
