New Support Group

A new peer-led Weight Loss Surgery (WLS) support group starts this Saturday, June 11th from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Cholla Public Library outside Metrocenter Shopping Mall in Phoenix, Arizona. Then starting next Saturday, June 18th - we will meet from 10:30am-Noon on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. This WLS group will provide support, friendship and local connections with other WLS patients in the Phoenix Metro Area. This support group is a chapter of ObesityHelp.com, and an Obesityhelp.com membership is required to join this group (free). Meetings will include discussions, education, product sampling and even special guest speakers (medical professionals, success stories, etc.). Everyone is welcome to support group meetings to either find out more information about surgery or to share your experience. Pre-ops and post-ops welcome. Feel free to bring a support person with you. Children not allowed in meetings. Bring notebook, pen and bottled beverage with you to meetings.
