I'm going to SBC on Monday May 23, 2005 for my marathon of testing

I submitted my packet on 5/11/05 to Scottsdale Bariatric after carrying it around for over 6months (attended Dr. Blackstone's seminar August 2004!) and then made sure that I had everything that was requested and needed. As well as spending extra time in therapy making sure, I was really sure and discussing any remaining fears. I found a phone message from Gwen at SBC on my answering machine when I got home last night! I will be having the marathon of 6 hours of testing on Monday 5/23: psych eval, dietitian and surgerical consultation. I have my follow up appt already scheduled for Wed June1st. So I am finally on my way!! So many emotions going thru me right now...luckily I have to work Sat/Sun so that will help to keep me focused and hopefully less stressed. Has anyone met with Dr. Messer before...? He will be handling my psych eval. I've been smiling all day....

I have not met with him. I did have my surgery there and they are wonderful. No need to be worried. You are in great hands. Good luck to you.
