New Phoenix Support Group!!!

I am starting a new support group in Phoenix, AZ serving the metro Phoenix area in June. Location is still be acquired, but I should have that finalized within the next week. This is an Obesity Help chapter. Each meeting you will learn something new about pre-op or post-op process, tips and tricks, recipes, exercises, dealing with unsupportive people, living with WLS and so much more!! If you live in the Phoenix Metro area or ever visit this area, you are welcome to attend!! Online support is great, but face-to-face support is even better!! Ok, Im a dork and didnt read this before I posted my "Help me Im lost" post. Thanks for doing this Trisha. I certainly would love to be part of this group as I just recently moved to central Phx. I will watch more closely for posts as it gets closer.........by then I will be "on the other side" as everyone puts it. Carrie

Okay, stop saying you are naive (previous post) and a dork (this post). You are neither!!! You are a wonderful person!! I've e-mailed Monica and Debbie at obesityhelp.com to have a SUPPORT GROUP link on the main OH page so we can click and see where support group meetings are at. It's in the works. Once I get a location for the Phoenix meeting starting up in June, I plan to have it listed on the Arizona Page - Upcoming Events for Arizona (midway down page http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/bariatric+surgery+resources+in+arizona.html).
