OK, today I had my psych eval, nutrition consult, and cardiac clearance. Everything went just fine, but I'm pooped!!! The only thing actually required before submitting for insurance was the psych, but I thought I'd get the rest out of the way, too, and maybe all of it will help insure my acceptance. I even put in a copy of my mammogram! Anyway, now I have to wait for Dr Juarez's notes to be dictated, as well as the psych, then we can submit. Nancy at the Good Sam office is now taking care of the paperwork for those patients, to take some load off of Angelia. I hope she has all of the knowledge that they do...she sure seems to have her stuff together, anyway. I made an appt with Dr Cooper (the psych doc) to go over my results next week. I really just want an excuse to go in there to check on the progress of the paperwork and kind of stay in their face a little. So now I wait......... Bonnie B

Sounds like things are going well. Insurance companies do not need lab work. But I was like you - I gave the office EVERYTHING - even my OB/GYN records. LOL Better safe than sorry is what I say. Keep us posted on your progress!! Glad today is overwith! Yay!

Bonnie, My insurance wanted copies of all of my PCP's notes and records. I was like you and supplied everything to Dr. Juarez. I had my surgery at Good Sam last week. Nancy is wonderful. She will take good care of your needs. Good luck on a speedy approval. Gretchen

Oh, yeah, I forgot about the notes. I have them back to '97 with many entries on weight loss. Banner insurance needs 6 months of dr supervised weight loss, but they don't have to be consecutive! No problem!!! Bonnie B
