Does Blackstone do open RNYs????

I know that Dr. Blackstone does Lap Rny, but does she have much experience doing it open?

From the lecture I attended, I got the impression she has quite a bit of experience, but does not do open unless there is no other way.

Hi Sandy, I am a patient of Dr Blackstones, 7 weeks out from surgery, and I know that the laproscopic way is much easier to recover from, the open is done only when needed, the surgeons have to be more skilled to do the laproscopic surgery. She is a great surgeon, if you really want to know, give her office a call, I am sure they will be able to give you some information..anyway good luck with your journey Anita
