Conceiving Post-Op???

One of my friends told me that it's hard to conceive post-GBS, and that if I wanted to have kids down the line to consider lap-band. Is this true? My insurance will not pay for lap-band, plus I think GBS is more effective for more weight loss and is more permanent, but I want to have kids in a few years (need to find a man and get married first ha-ha). Anyone on here have GBS and have 2-4 kids afterwards with no complications? Where can I get more info on this?! Trisha in Glendale

My sister had her first baby 8 months Post-Op... rather close, but possible. The doctors have a certain time-frame in which it's safe to conceive-- she barely made the mark. Now her baby is a healthy, bouncin' baby boy- almost 2yrs old... ;)
