Safford WLS support?

Is there a support group in the Safford area?

I replied to your post the other night, but my reply seems to have gone into the "lost post cosmos", so I"ll try again.... I don't think there are any support groups up your way. We have someone from Wilcox who comes into the Tucson meetings, but that's a long way, and would be even longer for you! Maybe you could be the initiator for a Southeast AZ group that would include Safford, Clifton and Wilcox. You might even get some people from New Mexico coming in, as I think there are no groups in their southern area either. You could let the doctors' offices who do the operations for people in your area know that there's a support group available and to give patients from your area your number. Starting a group doesn't require any particular expertise, just someone who is willing to open her house once a month, talk about where she is in the process and lend an ear while others do the same.
