Lap Band Surgery coming in May and I need info!

Hello. I am new to these message boards and I am looking for help/info. on anyone's experience with the lap-band. I am having the surgery in May and am really excited but nervous at the same time. I would love to hear anyone else's experience like: How long was recovery time, amount of weight lost and how quickly etc. I have been doing a lot of research on line etc. but there is no replacement for hearing a real life experience.
