Happy New Year!

On this last day of 2003, I wanted to wish all a very happy, safe, and healthy New Year for 2004! I hope 2004 brings everything you desire. For me, I'm ending 2003 on a very definite up note. As of today I'm 5 weeks and 5 days post-op and I am down 50 pounds. In my wildest dreams was that only possible! My knees and back already feel much better from not having to carry that extra poundage around. My asthma has been under much better control since WLS. In fact, I've only used my inhaler once since my surgery. And the energy I now have...WOW! My yard now looks beautiful thanks to that...LOL I've had wonderful support from my family and friends for WLS and for that, I am so very thankful. I've read posts where others haven't experienced this and I realize how truly blessed I've been. If you're going to be out on the roads tonight, please be safe.
