How long should I wait?

I saw my weight loss doctor last Thursday (9-11) and he refered me back to the bariatric surgeon that I saw in June (which is what the surgeon was waiting for), any way I was just wondering how long should I wait for the surgeon's office to call with an appointment, before I call them?? Jan
