pre-admission testing

Can anyone give me an idea where to start with appointments for pre-admission testing? My date is Nov. 12th and I have to have the EKG and blood work done two weeks prior. Is this something them my primary doctor does or do I have to go to a certain facility? Thanks

all my testing had to be done at the hospital except my Mammo and pap.

Hi Diane, Im Loretta in Phx. My date is Oct. 8. I just recieved a correspondance from my surgions office, last week. So, relax. they will notify you in time. Just keep the entire month befor surgery OPEN. because there will be pre op support meetings and physical(s) plus the EKG and blood work that you already know about. My friend told me to begin weening myself off of soda and caffien products. It is probably a good idea to get used to the water drinking as well. I hope this helps. good wishes. Loretta
