Scared

I don't know where to start, it seems like I'm scared of everything. I have seen a surgeon, who gave me a book to read which was very informative. I was first refered to this surgeon by my back specialist (several months ago), I saw the surgeon back in June (that's when he gave me the book to read), he refered back to my old weightloss doctor so that he could refer me back to the surgeon. When I made the appointment back in June to see the weightloss doctor they told me then that Septemeber was the earliest I could get in to see (I was fine with everything until a few days ago). My appointment is in a few days now and all of a sudden I am starting to worry about him not refering me back to the surgeon, and if he does what will the insurance company say (even though my surgeon has told me that he has found a back door for medicare), am I going to have a long battle on my hands with the insurance company, and if I am will I give up and just say forget it?????? Sometimes these questions just come rushing in, and when they do is when I start feeling overwhelmed. Has anyone else felt like this before? Or am I just letting my mind overtake my common sense? Jan, Phx.

Hey Janice, We've all been there. It's such a big decision to try and do this and then once you do decide, all the doubts come rushing at you. Will I be approved? Will I be cleared by all my doctors? Will everything go all right?? It's quite normal to feel this way. Just take one step at a time and deep breaths along the way and you'll get there! If you need to "vent", feel free to e-mail me anytime! Denise
