David, I'm not sure if this will be of any help. But my husband is Active Duty AF and we have Tricare Prime Ins. From what Tricare has told me, there is only one Dr. in AZ who does Gastric Bypass that tricare covers. His name is Dr. Darwin Zahn. If retires are the same, you'll need to see your PCM and get a referral from them to see Dr. Zahn. Dr. Zahn is located in Phoenix. His office phone number is 602-716-9200.
