What Dr's are at Scottsdale Shea

Does anyone know if there are other Dr's up there??  I know Dr Blackstone... anyone else ?

Looks like SHS has Dr Blackstone, Dr Sprunger, and a new fellow Dr Chandanos.  Now from working at Mayo clinic, fellows don't do surgery on their own, he is working under one or both of the other surgeons. 

When I called the other day for my 6 month follow up - - - Sprunger and Chandanos were not choices for me to see.  Don't know what is up.  When i go in I'll figure out more.

 
                   Hmmmmm  I thought there was another woman Dr up there.  Its been about two years  So .. Sprunger's time is  up and may be getting ready to leave  -  I think   Dr Blackstone preceps  surgeons doing their fellowships .
 
A friend of mine is looking for a female  surgeon.  looks like she may have to settle for Dr B.

It's been forever since I have been on...  but there used to be a woman at SBC, she did my gallbladder removal and screwed it up, popped it pretty much... pain was horrible!  Blackstone had to fix her mistake.  Forgot her name... I am sure it will come to me.

I meet with Chananos (spelling) back in January with some concerns I have.

Hi Joyce!

Yes...  Gall Bladder was "popped" during the removal, all that great stuff all over my belly to cause a large amount of pain!  It was great and back in August 2007!

Anyway, life is good... getting married on the 24th!  Big wedding, big fun... can't wait until it's OVER!!!  :)

Other than that... hanging in there.  Need to get back on track, enjoying life, my tool doesn't seem to be working at all anymore.  Having some major B-12 issues and taking shots regularly.  FUN!

I'll bet you are crazy busy with details swimming every direction!  Best Wishes to you friend! ....and when life settles down then shoot me a note!  ...There's a bunch of us who are rallying together to get "back on track"!  In fact, we're having a little Super Saturday Seminar on June 5th where specialists will address the "U Turn" options and how we can turn back around and get our wl goals!  Let me know if you'd like to RSVP!

Hmmm...that surprises me...I thought Sprunger was really happy there.  Interesting.  I will have to ask at support group next Tuesday if he's still there.  A friend of mine is in the final stages of approval w/ the office and everything she has done so far has been with Sprunger so I find that intriguing.
