Milk
I had RNY almost 1 year ago. So far nothing seems to cause me any issues. I have tried most of my old foods in very very small portions and it's good including chocolate.
I do stay away from greasy, fatty ,fried foods.
I would like to have cereal for breakfast to break the boredom. For this I need milk. Has anybody had any success with milk?

I had a different surgery.... but I've been experiencing some liver/gallbladder discomfort, so I've been avoiding greasy/fatty/fried foods like the plague.
I've found that Almond Milk is an AWESOME substitute. In fact, I actually prefer it to regular milk! It's much healthier.
I eat my cereal (raisin bran, fiber one, etc) with unsweetened chocolate almond milk. DELICIOUS!! :)

I usually buy it at Whole Foods or Sprouts.... but I've also seen it in the organic aisle at Fry's.
It's good stuff.... I'm not sure I'll ever go back to real milk! :)

If you ask the office this they will probably tell you it's a no go because we aren't supposed to be doing milk. I eat granola every morning but I mix it in with my yogurt, fruit and some protein powder. That way I get the delicious cereal crunch but the higher protein of the yogurt in a smaller portion than a glass of milk.
